The BFR409 by Hume Doors in their Bush Fire Resistant range has been designed to withstand the harsh Australian climate where a Bushfire Attack Level (BAL) rating has been determined. The BFR409 has been manufactured and tested to comply with AS1530.8.1 for up to a BAL 40 rating. Select from either tempered hardboard for a paint finish or SPM veneer for staining. • Meets regulatory requirements for building in designated bushfire zones up to BAL 40 when installed with Hume Doors BAL compliant frame
• Maxi vermiculite fire core construction with 32mm meranti stiles, 32mm meranti bottom rail and 18mm hardwood top rail
• Available in special sizes if required as door can’t be trimmed
• Four different glass options available; Clear, Grey Tint, Africana and Frost in 6mm Toughened safety glass
• Choose between tempered hardboard for painting or SPM for staining
• Commonly used as a fixed door panel as a door sidelight.
